China Glaze On Safari Fall 2012 Collection

HELLO everyone! LONG time no blog! My only excuse is LAZINESS!
Anyway, this post is about China Glaze's On Safari Collection for this fall.
There are 12 colors in total, a good mix of glitter and creme finishes, but I only purchased 5 of them because I thought they would look the best against my skintone =]

The 5 colors I purchased are Exotic Encounters, Adventure Red-y, Jungle Queen, Purr-fect Plum, & Prey Tell.

This first color is Exotic Encounters which is a creme deep teal color. On my skin, it seems to come off more BLUE. Also, BEWARE this color STAINS the nail after removal >.<

Adventure Red-y is EXACTLY what it looks like! It's a WONDERFUL bold, red creme polish!

Purr-fect Plum comes off more BERRY against my skin, but it is BY FAR my FAVORITE color that I purchased.  I love it because it dark enough for fall, but not so much to make my hands look older...if that makes sense :/

Jungle Queen is a smokey gray purple color. It reminds me of Hunger Game's Foie Gras, but Foie Gras is more GRAY than Jungle Queen =]

Prey Tell is going to look INTERESTING on the nail, I think. In the bottle is looks dark reddish purple, but on my nail wheel, it comes off more RED.

PURR-FECT PLUM on my nails =]

EXOTIC ENCOUNTER on my nails, but NOT the ring finger.

Here's the video I made on these colors! =]

Nail Color of the Week: China Glaze & Julep

Hello everyone!
This weeks nail color is a classic combo featuring polka dots!
I achieved this nail design starting with a base color of China Glaze's Foie Gras from the Hunger Games Capitol Colors collection and Julep's Penelope.
Foie Gras is in my opinion a very nice dark taupe color which is beautiful on it own and Penelope is the nicest muted pastel pink that I have seen in a while.
I know it's springtime and everyone's into all the bright colors. I got a little tired of seeing them and went back to dark colors =]
I did keep it kinda girly and nice with the pink polka dots.

Thanks for reading!

Nail Polish Haul: China Glaze Electropop

This is part 1 of my nail polish haul. The first post is obviously China Glaze and this colour is from their new spring Electropop collection. It's going along the trend of bright neon and pastel colours for this season. There were 12 pieces of the collection, but only one colour really stood out to me and it is Sweet Hook.
Sweet Hook is a very pale pastel lilac colour that comes off as a pastel pink on my nails. It's actually very pretty and it is perfect in one thick coat on my nails, but I put two because of habit LOL.

Nail Color of the Week: ESSIE & China Glaze

The shimmery gray polish (Pointer and ring fingers) is Mochacino by ESSIE. I have a base coat on the rest of my fingers of pale, yet bright pink Sweet Hook by China Glaze with Lightening Bolt white crackle polish on top.
I love the look of pastels on my nails! Perfect for spring! And I just wanted a neutral feel with the shimmery gray polish.

Thanks for stopping by!
